"Hats for a Hollow God" is the debut release for Jevan Cole's 'Meadow Argus' project and marks an abrupt shift in both tempo and style from his previous acoustic-based works with both Seamus Kirkapatrick and Jan Van Dijk, and earlier, seminal Australian Wyrd-Folk group, "One Straw" Although the fingerstyle acoustic lines are still present, they have been drenched in a swirling soup of e-bowed and delayed electric guitars, relentless bass motifs and reverb drenched synth lines.
